Are you an international student or just an Aussie without a vehicle? No problem. We have one here waiting for you. Need to go to the beach, or drive down to Macca’s, or even pick up your friends and family from the airport when they come to visit. Just book the vehicle out for up to 2 hours with absolutely no costs. All fuel, insurance excesses etc are covered. Its like owning your own car, without the costs!
We respect our partners and we also reward them. Any student coming from a Catholic School or connected with their local Catholic Diocese or have had or have a family member here as Saints gets a $21 a week discount on their fees. But we respect our residents even more. As a resident when you recommend someone to join us, we also give you a $21 a week discount…for every person you refer who comes to Saints. We understand that living away from home isn’t always easy for you, and your family and friends. So we make it easier for them to visit. Simply book a room (subject to availability) with the front office and your friends and family can come and stay a couple of nights for free. Perfect for when your feeling home sick, having a tough time of it, or just want to have a fun weekend with your bestie from school. Numbers are of course limited to each semester so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the benefit.
Here at Saints we have our own full gymnasium with cardio and weights and even group fitness classes. Try a Pilates Class on a Tuesday morning or just pump some weights at the time that fits with your schedule. We even have times allocated for women only so you can exercise in whatever environment that suits you best. Unlike other colleges where you would also have to pay for fitness etc, here at Saints it’s all provided free.
Life at University is not all about academics, but we are here to make sure you SURVIVE Exam week!! do our best to assist with the energy needs in study and exam weeks with our Energy Station in the Dining hall complete with Red Bull’s, lollies, and chocolate bars etc. We are also here to make sure that your time off is never short of a good munch. Our ‘make your own’ Pizza Station is open (outside of regular meal times) from close of Friday dinner service right through until Sunday breakfast, so no matter the time, head on down and create your own Pizza de Resistance.
Uni can be difficult, especially in your first year. So we ensure that every first year resident gets an academic mentor to do group study and exam prep sessions without throughout each semester. We also realise it is not just the academics that prove difficult during your time at Uni. So we provide 24 hour pastoral care which is made available to assist you with whatever is getting you down or giving you difficulties. It is not designed to be specifically catholic or religious in provision, but as counselling and assistance service to be there for you whenever you need assistance. This also includes our Residential Assistants who are students just like you, and there is one on every floor of every building specifically there to make your life at Saints as trouble free as possible.
As we all know in life sometimes it is in the fine print, or the un-mentioned additional fees that surprise us when we least expect it, or when we can least afford it! So at Saints we believe in full transparency. We provide the detail for our Entrance Fee and there is also no long list of multiple types of additional fees. Apart from a fee for electricity when you want your own fridge in your room, ALL other fees are in your accommodation or initial Entrance Fee. Everything is then provided free of charge at Saints. The great thing about Saints are the multitude of options. We have a range of room options from the some of the cheapest fully catered rooms on campus and also the newest fully catered rooms, complete with private or shared ensuite. The choices are not endless of course, but we have something to suit everyone and every budget.
